timberland discount How to make DIY Boot Socks

For meall of my boot socks are made from recycled sweaters and require NO SEWING!!!

Boot socks 1

Cut the sleeve off of a recycled sweater right under the armpit of the sweater. Measure 8 10″ from the finished edge of the sleeve and cut off the remaining fabric. That’s it! Put them on with the finished edge (the bottom of the sleeve) sticking out of the top of your boots.

Cut the sleeve off of a recycled sweater right under the armpit of the sweater. Measure 8 10″ from the finished edge of the sleeve and cut off the remaining fabric. Stretch the finished edge of the sweater around a can or anything similar to the circumference of your calf. Glue lace to the top of the sleeve. Let dry. Remove from can.

Before applying the lace,

you must stretch the fabric or the finished boot sock will not fit over your leg. The lace is not elastic so it will not give. TRUST ME ON THISLEARN FROM MY MISTAKES. LOL

Fold over the finished edge of the sleeve making a 2 3″ cuff. Apply fabric glue under the cuff so if will stay in place. Glue buttons, lace or a cute flower to the cuff. ADORABLE!!!
